Job Details
Must-haves:
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Any type of Front Facing Customer Service Experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and complete Administrative Tasks
- Proficiency in utilizing PC, CRT, printer, and Microsoft Tools
Plusses:
- Having a degree
- Ability to interpret physician orders, medical terminology, and/or health insurance
- Experience working in a medical facility, health insurance, or similar industry
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
The Patient Access Representative II will be supporting the departmental efficiencies by performing various tasks. These tasks may include scheduling, patient registration, pre-admission, and admission processes, as well as managing reception and discharge functions.
- Additionally, they must ensure the collection of complete and accurate patient demographic information. Patient Access representatives are also required to employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques both before and after the date of service.
