Job Details

We have full time (0.8 FTE / 32hrs per week) and part time (usually 0.4 FTE / 16hrs per week) nursing roles at the Anna Westin House West Adult Residential site that are open to both Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. Positions will focus on Days/Evenings, Evenings/Overnights, or Overnights only shifts, with training provided on all shifts in the event of coverage needs. Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Provides holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients in a Adult residential setting with a focus on treating clients with eating disorders.

Schedule

  • Day Shifts: 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Evening Shifts: 2:00pm - 10:30pm and 4:00pm - 12:30am
  • Overnight Shift: 12:00am - 8:30am
  • Every Third Weekend Rotation working both Saturday and Sunday
How Nurses Empower Recovery
  • Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
  • Responsible with medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the residential setting, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
  • Assists and support medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
  • Provides medical care coordination between patient, provider, staff, family and outside care agencies as needed
  • Recognizes and appropriately responds to medical and psychiatric to emergencies
  • Participate actively in milieu management which could include involvement in groups, outings, mealtimes, and therapeutic interventions
Qualifications
  • Licensed as an RN or LPN in Minnesota
  • Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
  • Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting
