To grow with a global, results-oriented company, explore our latest job listings. **Summary/Objective:** The Warehouse operator will function as part of a team to coordinate activities within the shipping and receiving department. This position requires a detail and task oriented individual who will communicate shipping and receiving issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis. **This position works 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, 11pm - 7:30am.** **Essential Functions:**

- Receives and unloads incoming material manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks from freight vendors.

- Verifies quantity and quality of orders and checks for damaged material.

- Perform shipping/receiving related transactions within computer software system.

- Creates all labeling paperwork necessary with applicable logistics companies to ensure proper shipment of material.

- Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping.

- Perform cycle counting to insure inventory accuracy.

- Perform nonconforming material process including DMRs and hold tags. Maintain safe work environment, keeping area clean.

- Perform all other duties as assigned. Participate in the training of new employees.

**Required Education and Experience:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years previous warehouse experience

**Required Skills and Abilities:**

* Proficient computer skills

* Experience with inventory systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP and Oracle Basic math skills

* Attention to detail

* Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers

* Good communications skills

* Ability to use lifting and moving devices

* Basic mechanical aptitude

* Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

**Preferred Education and Experience:**

* Technical School (2 year program)

* Minimum of 3 years warehouse experience

* Forklift certification

**Preferred Skills and Abilities:**

* Excellent mechanical aptitude
