HR Administrative Assistant


Job Details

The Human Resource Administrative Assistant supports HR with the administration of programs, policies and procedures. Provides support on all employee matters and assists with a variety of tasks and projects involving training, onboarding, benefits, recruitment, payroll, HRIS data entry and records management. This position is a front-facing, full-time onsite role reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the administration of the New Hire Onboarding process - from coordinating with senior leaders in the creation of an onboarding/training schedule to sending welcome emails, desk setup, swag management, ordering business cards, etc.

Assist in coordinating Culture Club activities, functions, or programs designed to impact associate retention.

Assist HR Manager with the recruitment of candidates.

Assist in implementing HR processes and programs.

Provide support for ManageAssist, our employee training program

Utilize the HRIS and related systems to access and report on employee data.

Provide timely and pertinent customer service to all levels of associates and leadership teams.

Must practice discretion and confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Assist in Ad-Hoc HR projects.

Receptionist coverage: welcomes visitors, answers incoming calls, orders supplies and provides backup for the Executive Assistant if needed

Requirements

High school degree plus 2 years' experience in HR related field and/or Bachelor's Degree in related field with at least 1 year of HR related experience

Knowledge of human resource policies, practices and programs

In-depth emotional intelligence: behavioral maturity, demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence and the ability to prevent, reduce, and resolve conflict.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates.
