What You'll Do

The Assembler III is responsible for working independently in any of the assembly areas within the business unit servicing both internal and external customers. The Assembler III is required to work within a team environment. The person will be held accountable by the production supervisor.

In This Function, You Will
Be certified in soldering and assembly abilities to IPC-610 Class 3 & J-Std-001 soldering requirements.
Be responsible for independently building complex electronic assemblies, terminal boards, printed circuit boards, and heat sinks.
Be able to rework defective sub-assemblies such as Surface Mount assemblies and Through-hole assemblies.
Work from drawing assembly, bill of materials, special model sheet and other input documents.
Be able to use advanced soldering and de-soldering skills to produce products.
Will use measuring equipment, test equipment and hand tools as needed (air drivers, screw drivers, wrenches, presses, and other tooling fixtures).
Be required to read and interpret drawings, bill of materials, s and blueprints.
Be make minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting and other variances within the established guidelines of workmanship standards.
Receive detailed instructions on new assignments and limited instructions on routine work
Be able to match drawings to bill of materials
Perform visual and electrical checks.
Be part of the team to maintain and support a safe, clean work environment.
Be part of facilitating ongoing continuous improvement in support of quality, productivity and growth objectives compatibility and safety of electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution
Certified in soldering and assembly abilities to IPC-610 Class 3 & J-Std-001 soldering requirements.
3 to 5 years' experience in related manufacturing assembly operations
Must be able to work in the Client States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
