Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of the facility, including plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the community's common areas, grounds, and individual living units to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly and effectively, with attention to quality and detail.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute facility improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times


Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and planting to ensure the community's outdoor areas are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering and conservation practices.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and address any landscape-related issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces, reporting any safety hazards or necessary repairs.
  • Support the maintenance team in performing general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including light carpentry, painting, and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related field is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plant care, horticulture, and landscaping techniques.
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • A genuine interest in serving and engaging with senior residents.


Compensation details: 18-21 Hourly Wage
