SALARY: The prevailing salary for this position as established by Ordinance of the Council of the City of Cleveland is $21.07 - $24.55 per hour.
EXAMINATION INFORMATION:
WRITTEN EXAMINATION: The exam may be computerized or a traditional pencil and paper designed to test the objectives of the duties and minimum qualifications of the classification. Those who pass the written test will take the performance exam. (50% of score)
PERFORMANCE EXAMINATION: Those who earn a score of 70 or better on the written exam will take a test to demonstrate basic mechanical skills and aptitude. (50% of score)

Examples of Duties
Under immediate supervision and instruction, carries out tasks related to operation, maintenance, and repairs to sewers, manholes, and catch basins. Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous labor experience is preferred. A valid State of Ohio Driver's License is required. Must have the capability to operate a jackhammer. Availability for overtime is required.
Minimum qualifications must be met as of the last day of the filing period.
