Job Description:
We are seeking reliable Regional and Local Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe driving, a strong commitment to punctuality, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves transporting goods over regional routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Hourly pay, first shift, home every night, experience driving box truck a plus!
Opportunities for CDL drivers as well- home every night, hourly pay. Don't have your CDL yet? No need to worry, for the right person- paid training to obtain CDL is available.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a box truck to transport goods to various regional destinations.
Ensure cargo is properly secured and handle loading and unloading as required.
Verify delivery orders for accuracy and maintain detailed delivery records.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the truck.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Interact professionally with clients during deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
Report any mechanical issues or delivery discrepancies to the supervisor.
Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver License with a clean driving record REQUIRED.
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver s License with air brake endorsement a plus)
Proven experience as a regional or long-haul truck driver.
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Ability to read maps and use GPS for efficient route planning.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
