Overview:

We are seeking a Client Service Associate, PI Client Services who will assist with day-to-day operations within the Personal Insurance (PI) department, which includes processing new business policies, policy cancellations, endorsements, and renewals. You will also gather information for Underwriters, research billing inquiries, and backup phone duties at Clements Worldwide. This is a fully remote role and the typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 5 pm EST.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Serve as a client contact and respond to their needs in a timely, efficient, and professional manner to improve the client experience with a high level of accuracy
  • Resolve billing issues, prepare invoices, validate payments, make policy changes, and issue certificates of insurance while using multiple systems, agency standards, and workflows
  • Maintain client files accurately, consistently document conversations, send confirmations to clients, adhering to the departments Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Utilize and maintain the agency management system (EPIC) and other requisite portals/systems, per the departments SOP, to provide excellent customer experience and prevent Errors & Omissions (E&O)
  • Assist the departments compliance requirements by utilizing Bridger (LexisNexis)
  • Provide high-level customer service to clients using a consultative approach and relationship building, such as timely inquiry responses, utilization of product knowledge, and participation in department meetings
  • Assist with covering phone calls for our receptionist when needed
  • Additional duties as assigned based on department volume


About you:

Required: High School diploma/equivalent plus 1 year directly applicable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills.

Preferred Traits:

  • Licensed in Property and Casualty (P&C) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Prior insurance database system experience such as EPIC
  • Fast learner with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, able to work under minimal supervision
