Pay Range: $30.11/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives, opens, and sorts all incoming service.
- Scans, inputs, and uploads new summons & complaints into the legal database.
- Performs a risk analysis of the pleadings and routes the legal process to the appropriate external or internal resource.
- Appears in court as an expert witness on behalf of the Bank regarding our records, as necessary.
- Performs legal research on various related matters.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Six months to two years of experience in legal documentation activities.
- Paralegal certificate or legal secretary.
- Microsoft Suite.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to perform research and analysis.
- General knowledge of legal and regulatory issue.
