THE JOB:

As a Bar Porter, it's your duty not only to ensure the seamless operation of beverage outlets but also to maintain impeccable cleanliness. This includes stocking all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products, and other essentials for efficient service. By delivering top-notch guest experiences alongside maintaining a pristine environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall bar experience.

STARTING RATE: $22.716

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Stock, maintain, and serve assigned beverage outlets ensuring that inventory levels, including glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other essentials, meet specified standards.
Uphold cleanliness standards in beverage areas and related equipment, including regular trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation, and upkeep of work areas, in accordance with Southern Nevada Health District guidelines. This encompasses tasks such as cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors.
Handle deliveries to the bar area, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying items weighing 75+ pounds virtually unassisted. Utilize equipment like an electric pallet jack as needed to facilitate these tasks.
Complete necessary paperwork such as bar transfers and dry stock deliveries to maintain accurate records.
Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of liquor, beer, and supplies in coolers and dry storage areas, proactively ordering as required.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas as needed.
Ensure correct utilization of freight elevators and delivery routes to efficiently transport goods to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets.
Organize and upkeep beverage pump room areas, storage rooms, and warehouses, identifying any non-stock items and promptly notifying management.
Address guest complaints within authorized scope or escalate to management or security as necessary, maintaining awareness of any unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or potential theft.
Preform other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Six (6) months porter experience in a similar resort setting.
Ability to constantly stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel and squat.
Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds.
