Description
Administrative Assistant
The purpose of the Administrative Assistant role is to provide excellent customer and administrative service to Cal-Teks customer base. This role is the first point of contact for new and existing customers. It requires a detail-oriented and positive individual. Responsibilities:
Greet customers at the front window and lobby and receive/check in equipment into MET/TEAM to be tested for the customer.
Deliver checked in equipment to the receiving area.
Answer phone calls and direct calls or take detailed messages and deliver messages in a timely manner.
Respond to emails from customers and send updates on equipment status in a timely and professional manner.
Organize customer bills scan billing statements into computer.
Organize customer paperwork and file information in a timely and accurate manner
Assist with shipping equipment and documentation to customers
Assist with receiving shipments from customers, open boxes and route received shipments to the proper department
Receive payment information and enter it into the Traverse system
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 5 years solid Administrative Assistant experience in a testing laboratory or industrial setting
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years Microsoft Office Suite experience including advanced Excel and Word knowledge
Experience with MET/TEAM Lab Equipment software or Traverse software a plus
