salary: $43,000 - $50,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position
- Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks
- Willing to learn how to setup and changeover machinery and equipment according to the priorities of the production schedule
- Follow direction on installation and removal of molds in injection presses
- Learn how to set process parameters and process limit alarms
- Follow directions for setting of equipment safety features and low pressure mold protection
- Learn how to connect water, hydraulic and air lines
- Learn and understand the importance of connecting and checking of any mold protection switches
- Install and removal of peripheral equipment (chutes, conveyors, etc.)
- Ensure that the required raw materials are staged in the workstation
- Be willing to learn how to read a process parameter sheet, understand if the process in the machine reflects the set-up sheet; be willing to learn how to document deviations
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Engineering and Tool Room to ensure machine is producing quality part
- Must have the technical ability to understand processes in association with mold set-up and manufacturing operations
- Must be able to follow the directions to set tools and bring a press and bring product up to an acceptable measure at "start-up"
- Provide operator assistance as required
- Must be capable of learning the materials and the injection molding process
