The Sangamon County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is seeking applicants for the position of Emergency Management Specialist.
This position reports to the OEM Director.
The Emergency Management Specialist will assist the OEM Director in the County's planning and preparation for, response to, and recovery from any type of disaster or emergency.
This is a normal M-F position with set work hours, HOWEVER, the applicant must understand that there is an expectation of working abnormal and weekend hours in the rare event of a large scale disaster/emergency taking place in Sangamon County.
Compensatory time/Overtime is available with the approval of the Director.
