**Role Summary**

Join our team as a Turndown Attendant for Bishop's Lodge, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by preparing the Guest Rooms for the guests' return by ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.

$17.50/ hour

**Core Responsibilities**

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: * Prepare all your working tools to commence your daily duties. Organize your GEM car.

* Clean and turn down each room for the guests return after dinner in accordance with Bishops Lodge / Forbes reorganizing and tidying all guest belongings

* Refresh/replace all the amenities, including edibles.

* Ensure that linen, towels, room supplies, are replenished and nicely presented

* Remove trash from all guest rooms.

* Report maintenance issues to the Executive Housekeeper / Supervisor on duty in a timely and effective manner.

* Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits.

* Ensure that every guest room door is locked, before and after entering or leaving the room

* Follow safe operating procedures in regards to the use of cleaning chemicals.

* Respond to Guests / Supervisor requests in a courteous and prompt manner.

**Skills and Abilities**

* Able to read and write in English

* Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.

* Great communication skills

* Excellent Grooming

* Confidence and ability to perform under pressure

* Must like to clean

**Required Qualifications**

* One-year Housekeeping or Turndown experience

* Prior experience in a luxury hotel

* Bi-Lingual preferred
