As a Fundraising and Development Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our fundraising efforts and developing relationships with donors and partners. Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives to achieve revenue goals.
- Research and identify prospective donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors through personalized communication and stewardship.
- Coordinate donor communications, including acknowledgments, newsletters, and fundraising appeals.
- Assist in organizing fundraising events, including logistics, attendee management, and follow-up.
- Prepare grant proposals, reports, and presentations for foundation and corporate donors.
- Maintain accurate donor records and database management to ensure effective donor stewardship.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create fundraising materials and promote fundraising activities.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, communications, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or related roles is advantageous but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Passion for nonprofit work, philanthropy, and making a positive impact in the community.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to attend evening or weekend events as needed.
