We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
**Duties:**
- Utilize Excel & current processing systems to manage purchasing orders and inventory control
- Negotiate prices with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals
-Follow through to ensure timely delivery of products
- Forecast when items need to be ordered and present to management for approval
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and monitor product quality
- Coordinate with various departments such as warehouse, production planning, and to meet on time supply demands
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software for inventory management
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, supply chain management, and production planning a plus
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
