The Assembler ensures the safe, precise, and efficient assembly of wood and metal components according to design measurements and specifications.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately place pre-cut wood component members onto jig in accordance with design measurements and specifications.
- Join wood component members together utilizing staple gun.
- Accurately measure dimension to ensure accuracy and quality of build in accordance with design.
- Place metal connector plate components at joints for permanent application in accordance with design.
- Ensure the product is constructed accurately, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Send finished product to packaging/shipping section of the production line.
Requirements & Qualifications:- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Ability to read or learn to read a tape measure.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
