The Ideal Candidate

You are sales-oriented and passionate about delivering excellent customer service who prides themselves on bringing the best experience to their client with a background as a Tier 2/Tier 3 supplier. We take a consultative approach to our practice and provide tailored solutions to each and every client partner. A self-starter and tenacious multi-tasker who excels in a fast-paced setting will find comfort in our family-oriented team balanced with an as-needed flexible work schedule and hybrid work model. You will be entrusted to add value to our team by managing and growing your book of business with minimal to no oversight as we continue to drive success for our firm and clients.


Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with Clients Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders.
  • Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
  • Strong sourcing skills Ability to identify the manufacturer of the goods and source direct.
  • Sourcing and procurement of non-stock materials for customer requirements.
  • Assist with tender pricing as and when required.
  • Ensure QA requirements are met data sheets and test certificates to be supplied with relevant goods.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client quality management system.
  • Attend Client / Supplier meetings when required.
  • Ensure customer problems or queries are resolved efficiently.
  • Assist with other duties in the sales office as required.
  • Ensure component, standard cost and lead time are maintained with in MD365.
  • Ensure that all procedures are complied with, and all actions are audit-able.
  • Ability to work within a busy department and cope with the pressure of meeting demanding targets and working to tight deadlines.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent 4-7 years' experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management and tail-spend management
  • Consultative approach with experience securing new vendors, building rapport and consistent communication
  • Organized and skilled multitasker able to set priorities, shift gears and process multiple high-volume requests simultaneously
  • Detail oriented and forward-thinker able to identify and clarify the finer points of complex client requests
  • Understands reseller market with working knowledge of a variety procurement categories from heavy machinery, industrial, to office supplies.
  • Track record of success within a Tier 2/Tier 3 supplier
