The compensation for this role is $16/hr, with tip eligibility.
What You ll Do
As a housekeeper with The Inn, you ll:
- Clean guest rooms to ensure all areas are properly sanitized and appropriately stocked with room amenities.
- Change and replace guest room bedding and towels and direct necessary items to laundry area.
- Vacuum guest rooms and clean all floor surfaces while following set procedures.
- Dust and sanitize all in-room surfaces, safely, using appropriate chemicals and equipment.
- Deliver items such as extra linens, towels or pillows to rooms upon guest request.
- Provide a secure environment for all guests and associates by ensuring all guestrooms are locks and assigned keys are maintained and return/document any items left behind in guest rooms after departure.
What It Takes
- Age requirement of 18+ required
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Previous customer service skills and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to follow procedures and specifications
- Strong communication, human relations, and motivational skills
- Ability to operate in a service environment and respond effectively to customers
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Work extended/non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
