This system-wide position is accountable to assist in providing a safe and secure environment of care for patients, visitors, and staff in compliance with Cone Health policies and the Joint Commission requirements. This position is also responsible to direct and assist with pedestrian and vehicular traffic on the campus. Responsibilities Patrols assigned hospital areas and enforces applicable policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and secure environment of care. Keeps the patient at the center of all decisions. --------------------------------------------------Responds to alarms and emergencies, and assists health care professionals with all routine requests in order to maintain a secure environment and to meet hospital safety standards. Provides exceptional service through courteous and professional interaction with patients, families and visitors.
