DEPOSIT OPERATIONS MANAGER


PRIMARY FUNCTION

To manage the activities of the Deposit Operations area which includes input of data, research of customer requests, maintenance of client accounts, Internet Banking support, BSA and ACH processing and support. To process and handle all legal requests received by the bank for client accounts. To provide support to the Deposit Operations staff. To assist with deposit compliance review of processes and procedures. To actively promote the sale of all bank products and services to current and potential clients.


WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Internal - Contact with staff members at all levels throughout the bank.

External - Limited contact with customers, some contact with auditors, regulators, and vendors.


ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

The Manager of Deposit Operations reports to the Director of Operations. The following positions report to the Manager of Deposit Operations: Supervisor of Deposit Operations, Fraud Research Specialist, Deposit Operations Representatives Level 3.



NATURE AND SCOPE

Supervision

To supervise the scheduling and daily operational responsibilities performed by the various operations' representatives, and to measure performance effectiveness.


Deposit Compliance

To assist the Compliance Officer with all deposit regulatory compliance requirements by reviewing all processes and procedures identified by the compliance audit program. To coordinate deposit compliance training and document required trainings as needed.


Service Quality

To make suggestions and assist with the development of operational procedures for increased efficiency and effectiveness in the operations area.
