This position is responsible for ensuring that a consistent level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the Hotel Hershey.
**Job Functions:**
* This position is responsible for maintaining a neat, clean appearance in all public areas of the Hotel, including hallways, lobbies, dining rooms, etc.; reporting any necessary repairs; dusting and cleaning furniture; cleaning all ladies' rooms; emptying trash; vacuuming; emptying ash trays; finishing late checkout rooms; and performing all other duties as may be assigned.
* May have to periodically help to clean guest rooms.
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Must be at least 18 years of age older.
* To better accommodate the needs of our guests, this position is available for females only.
**Additional Qualifications:**
* Similar work experience helpful, but not necessary.
* Friendly personality and neat appearance.
* Considerable walking involved; some heavy lifting and pushing required.
* Guest contact involved; must be able to communicate with guests.
* Ability to work independently and be motivated.
**Working Conditions:**
* Normal working hours will be 1st shift (hours vary depending upon housecount); weekends and holidays. Two days off will vary.
* Proper footwear to be provided by employee.
* Will be working around cleaning chemicals.
* This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on seniority. The candidate must be able to meet scheduled requirements which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
