Job Summary:

The IT Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance

and support to end-users for computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves

troubleshooting issues, diagnosing problems, and resolving technical queries to ensure smooth

operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Essential Function:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Document all support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Assist with IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades and software installations.
  • Educate end-users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor IT systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and IT industry trends.

Provide training and guidance to end-users on using IT equipment and software effectively.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications (e.g., Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical
