The primary responsibility of this position is to care for their 16-year-old daughter with Down syndrome, while also providing support to her two siblings aged 19 and 14. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, and possess a genuine passion for childcare. Responsibilities include after-school pickup, transportation to activities and therapy sessions, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and occasional errands. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $25 to $30.
