Position Overview:
Retail Inventory Associates are responsible for day-to-day inventory management at the retail storefront. They ensure inventory counts and shipments are accurate. They assist in verification and receiving product shipments and in the organization of products within storage and on the sales floor. They also ensure products are received within the California Track and Trace system (METRC) and POS (Point of Sale) system and have appropriate labels before being transferred to the sales floor. They are responsible for proper product flow to ensure all products are readily available for customers by stocking the sales floor per business needs.

- Execute all daily inventory operations meticulously
- Efficiently restock inventory on the dispensary floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and organized for dispensary associate access
- Regularly conduct inventory audits and inspections to ensure product quality expiration dates, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimization to ensure efficient inventory turnover
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and state regulations regarding inventory tracking, record keeping, and reporting
- Collaborate with various teams to provide accurate and timely inventory information and support decision making processes
- Perform regular reconciliations between physical inventory and electronic records, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Uphold safety protocols in handling and storing inventory, ensuring a secure and compliant environment
- Receive and intake deliveries with speed and precision
- Maintain organization and storage of Cannabis products according to DCC and California Compliance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma
- Open availability preferred (must be able to work 2 weekend days Fri-Sun)
- Previous experience in inventory or a closely related field preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in using point of sale systems
Schedule:
- Open availability is highly preferred; must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
