Job Description
As the?Maintenance?Technician your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility. ?This will?include conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.?You'll,?develop?preventative maintenance procedures, document?completed work orders and?perform other?assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.??This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds.?If you are a "Jack?or Jill?of all trades" with a strong knowledge of?industrial?electric,?pump repair, forklift?repairs,?and plumbing,?this position would be a perfect fit for you!
Qualifications
To qualify, you must have a?high school?diploma or GED,?be mechanically inclined, willing to learn. By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred qualifications are?an?associate degree?from?a?two-year college or technical school?in a related?field,?knowledge?of?hazardous?material?handling?, and OSHA training. Also 2 years of?maintenance?work experience including pumps, gearboxes, and loader machinery.?As you will interact with?internal staff,?the ability to communicate in English?is?important.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
