The position prepares dosage forms and prescriptions to the point of #final check# approval by the pharmacist and prepares patient medication safely and effectively, in addition to maintaining the drug inventory and patient records, under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. All duties are carried out only by a registered pharmacist. This position is responsible for distributing medication throughout the organization. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.
