Our company is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Asphalt Paving Crew Members. As a crew member, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to asphalt paving, patching, and preparation, as well as operating equipment and ensuring proper traffic control measures are in place.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks, including shoveling, brooming, and raking
- Operate equipment such as skid steers and highway brooms as needed
- Assist with general duties associated with asphalt paving, patching, and prep crews
- Handle small tools and run small power tools
- Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials
- Assist in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices
- Perform equipment cleanup as needed
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with equipment operation is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
