Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all plant-related financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and month-end close. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee all plant-related financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and month-end close.
2. Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
3. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making purposes.
4. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic financial plans and identify opportunities for cost savings and profitability improvement.
5. Manage the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts, providing financial expertise and insight to support strategic decision making.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
7. Review and analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
8. Participate in the development and support of the plant's strategic plans.
9. Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
