District Property Manager

The District Manager will assist in the monitoring of company policies and procedures related to property management; responsible for training, development, and supervision of Property Managers, and share responsibility for maintaining the physical asset and performance of assigned properties. This position also includes assisting with special projects as needed. Travel is required.

Reports to: Regional Supervisor(s)

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-exempt

Location: Corporate Office - Long Beach, CA

Workdays: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On call may be required for any after-hours emergencies.

Hourly rate: $20 to $22 hourly

Requirements

Skills required to complete this job include but are not limited to the following:

  • At least 3 years managing apartments (Required)
  • At least 1 year managing staff (Required)
  • Yardi experience (Required)
  • Knowledge of California Property Management Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge of property maintenance, property marketing, and insurance.
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and possess a strong supervisory, personnel management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to delegate and communicate property management methods along with the ability to problem-solve issues

Travel Requirements: Moderate travel for this position requires you to have reliable transportation and expectation to work onsite averages about 75 % of the time. Travel requirements for this position may change at any time.
