IT Service Desk Technician


Job Details

This person will need to setup new machines. We have not yet implemented a standard image, but that is on my short list to do. We have some steps documented to set up machines. There isn't a huge amount of software loaded on the machines, but we do have to install printer drivers, Dymo label printer, signature pad drivers, and PawnSnap client.

  • Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance
  • Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
  • Manage distribution and tracking of hardware assets
  • Maintain and enforce security measures to protect company assets
  • Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
  • Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide needed information on IT products or services
  • Keep record of problems and their resolution
  • Customer-oriented communication and follow-up
  • Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
  • Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
