Position Overview:
As an Inter-State Studio Photographer, you will set up equipment, pose, and photograph students and staff on-site at schools. This role blends your technical photography skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. If you have an eye for detail and can make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, we want to hear from you!
This part-time, seasonal position is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and need a flexible schedule. You'll work about 20 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours if you're excelling. Workdays vary based on school schedules, generally start early and last 8-10 hours. This flexibility allows you to manage personal commitments, and we often accommodate time-off requests. With our schedule aligning with the school calendar, you'll have time off during summer and winter breaks, perfect for those who appreciate these free periods. We pay drive time and mileage.
Paid Training starts July 15th.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation- You must be able to fit a mobile studio inside of your vehicle
- Must pass a background check
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred- ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking students, staff, and volunteers.
- Abilities and Skills:
- Photography experience in posing, centering, and capturing expressions preferred.
- Proficiency with PC computers and photography software also preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and volunteers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Access to email.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
