A Family is Boca Raton is looking to hire a Houseman for a long-term commitment. The schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm. The home is a single-family residence, approximately 6k sq. ft and sits on 27k sq ft lot.The houseman will be responsible for general maintenance of the home and property inside and out, performing daily walk-throughs, inspecting the property, ensuring that systems (plumbing, electrical, Hvac, etc.) are in working condition, performing light fixes when possible, supervising vendors/contractors etc. The candidate must be flexible and available for on call or after hours in emergency situations.
The property is new and the family is in the process of moving into the home by the end of July. They are looking to hire immediately as the houseman will be needed to assist in getting the house ready and assist in the moving process.
Job Duties:
- Ensuring the property is secure and safe and smoothly running at all times. Walkthrough and inspect all areas
- Maintenance around the home (change filters, light bulbs etc.)
- Heavy cleaning. Window washing, pressure washing, removing trash.
- Cleanout pool in between pool contractor visits
- Light landscape maintenance
- Identifying issues and taking steps to resolve
- Supervising contractors/vendors (landscape, pool contractors etc.)
- Ran errands when needed (home depot etc.)
- Work along with and assist the housekeeper with heavy duty cleaning)
- All other houseman related duties
Job Requirements:- Minimum 5 years houseman/handyman experience with references
- Great communicator. Problem solver, proactive. Able to anticipate the needs of the principal
- Must lived nearby Boca Raton
Compensation & Benefits: $50/HR
