Job Details
Shift: 1st, 6am - 4:30pm M-TH
Pay: $17/hr.
Benefits: Yes, full benefits after 60 days!
What to expect:
- Scans item location and pulls product using RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders in a safe and effective manner.
- Ensures all units are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.
- Processes UPS/FEDEX using computer software and builds boxes as needed.
- Places completed and labelled order into designated area as orders are fulfilled.
- Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy levels and cycle counts product as needed.
- Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc.
- Loads trucks/trailers/vans safely and in a manner (using provided dunnage materials) that prevents damage during transporting.
- Successfully passes all Novo training and operates equipment per safety requirements established within Novo.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Other assignments as required. All employees must be willing to work any task assigned in their department and occasionally in other departments as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: - Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.
- Properly uses required PPE and company approved tools with awareness of surroundings and potential hazards. Maintains a safe work area. Demonstrates the ability to safely handle awkward product lengths and weights.
- Demonstrates basic math, interpersonal/team and reasoning skills.
- Demonstrates ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures and standard work instructions.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Flexibility in scheduling - able to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.
- High School Diploma and GED
Physical Requirements: - Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust.
- 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp.
- 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception.
- 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment.
- 10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting.
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
