Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking an Elementary School Teacher for a small independent school in the Bel-Air neighborhood.
Responsibilities of the Elementary Teacher:
- Teach a Montessori inspired, project based curriculum to a mixed-age group of students.
- Utilize various teaching methods and instructional resources to engage students in learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and respect.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain order and discipline.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and behavior.
Qualifications of the Elementary Teacher:
- Bachelor's in Elementary Education or related degree required.
- 5 years of teaching experience
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Teaching credential/certification
- Comfortable working in religious community (Christian), no statement of faith
