Description

Does your dream job include finding and developing great new products? The Associate Buyer role within the Merchandising team seeks out new product that will delight our customers while achieving our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify great new product and category opportunities and bring them to market
  • Develop and manage merchandise assortment for assigned categories to achieve sales and growth objectives
  • Understand the competitive marketplace and pursue category opportunities that align with business plans
  • Review and analyze key performance metrics for products and develop a plan to capitalize on strengths and address weaknesses
  • Develop relationships with vendors to maximize product quality and growth potential
  • Collaborate closely with various internal teams
  • Participate and present in product brainstorming meetings to identify new product and category ideas


What you bring:

  • Energetic self-starter that works well in a team as well as independently
  • Combination of creativity to drive innovation and analytical skills to drive business performance
  • Passion for product and innovation
  • Detail oriented with consistent and timely follow through
  • Good presentation, listening, verbal, and written skills
  • 3-5 years of merchandising or product management experience in a direct to consumer or retail environment or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Experience using Excel
