The Gig
As a CNC Machinist, you will make components for first articles or production. Successful candidates will be monitoring quality by: taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
What You'll Do...
Monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming control
Machine all types of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless and plastics)
Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes
Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time
Qualifications and Education Requirements
2 year degree in machining preferred, but not required
Minimum of 3 years experience as a programmer/machinist in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Cam software
Knowledge of G & M Codes
Ability to adhere to company safety standards
Must be able to work in a Team environment
Required Skills
Experience with HAAS CNC mills
Experience with HAAS CNC lathes
Ability to machine all types of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless and plastics)
Must be flexible, must be able to work assigned hours plus overtime
Must be able to read precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gages)
Must be able to read a print
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must have good communication skills
Must have good math skills
Must be able to pass written and practical exams
