- Have the ability to integrate user research and analytics insights, working through interaction models, IA, and user flows.
- Enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.
- Creates and owns design specs, working closely with engineering to ship features.
- Generates clear ideas, concepts and designs to solve a problem or user need from beginning to end.
- Prototype design solutions to facilitate conversations and drive better research outcomes.
- Sweats the details and champions product excellence across all phases of design.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years experience focused primarily in interaction and visual design, contributing to products, design systems.
- Experience designing for mobile.
- Experience developing, contributing to design systems is a plus.
- A solid understanding of user-centered and interaction design principles and best practices.
- Comfortable switching between low-level, specific product details and high-level ecosystem needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to build good working relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with many stakeholders.
- An ability to communicate complex interaction concepts and design rationales clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
