Our client is a 40 year old Developer/General Contractor in Metro Detroit with an excellent reputation for quality work in the Multifamily space. They've been consistently growing over the last 5 years and are looking to add a Senior Superintendent who can be a key player on their field team overseeing projects valued from $30-$50M. Their work is all local to Southeast Michigan with a pipeline that takes them through 2026.
Role
- Mentor and manage junior field personnell
- Oversee and manage all aspects of ground-up multifamily construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review plans, specifications, and construction documents, providing input to optimize construction efficiency and mitigate potential issues.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and internal construction teams, including scheduling, procurement, and supervision of subcontractor work to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to monitor progress, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain project integrity and meet quality standards.
- Enforce and ensure strict adherence to all safety standards, protocols, and regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of Superintendent experience at a General Contractor
- Successful track record overseeing Ground Up Multifamily projects
- Experience with wood-frame construction
- Experience overseeing projects valued at $25M+
- Procore experience
- OSHA 30 Certified
Offer:
- $105,000-$130,000 based on experience
