Senior Accountant

A prominent real estate investment firm located in Boston is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. This position will be responsible for maintaining and reporting timely, accurate and reliable financial and accounting information for the three management companies at the firm. The firm will pay up to $110k base salary plus bonus. This is a hybrid opportunity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements along with supporting schedules and footnotes.
  • Enter journal entries, prepare workpapers, and document policies and procedures.
  • Prepare the cash management reports for each entity s bank accounts and review monthly bank reconciliations. Verify all transactions are recorded correctly and timely.
  • Prepare allocation of shared corporate costs across business lines.
  • Track reimbursements of payroll, insurance, and other expenses from various funds and properties to the firm.
  • Process expense invoices and wire requests as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Extremely detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects, complete multiple tasks on schedule.
  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • Experience with Real Estate preferred, Corporate experience required.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
