What you will be doing

Under general supervision of the Billing Supervisor, the Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for scheduling, communicating, conducting and auditing the business units 5 warehouse hubs and third-party warehouses in accordance with compliance narratives.


This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Accurately conducts quarterly counts by providing count sheets to all warehouses.

  • Audits the counts for accuracy providing blind counts, picture back up support and audit counts.

  • Will be asked to provide reporting and data support to help management make decisions.

  • Maintain accurate records of counts, adjustments, and communications.

  • Evaluates slow moving inventory for Obsolete evaluation.

  • Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels.

  • Researches discrepancies as it relates to inventory levels, as needed.

  • Provides internal and external customer support regarding inventory discrepancies.

  • Develops and implements new processes and procedures when necessary.

  • Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.

  • Tracks all inventory transactions month to month and year over year comparisons and work with Sr. level management to discuss any findings.

  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.

  • Must be willing to travel to the 5 warehouse hubs in the United States to conduct audits and inventory reviews and write up recommendations of findings.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires two (2) years equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Strong product knowledge

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas and V-lookups

  • Good mathematical skill

  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

  • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
