Position Summary:
A key member of our Warehouse team, Drivers safely, efficiently, and effectively deliver material to our United Electric locations and customers creating exceptional care and professionalism on every delivery. Safe and effective driving habits are an important aspect of our customer service operation and ensure the value proposition we extend to our customer base. Current overnight route begins at our Langhorne warehouse delivers to our Wilmington DE branch before returning back to Langhorne PA warehouse.
Position Responsibilities:
Loads truck for daily deliveries ensuring the material is correct.
Provides basic maintenance to the truck. Reports any malfunctions.
Keeps mileage record and expenses encountered.
Observes all safety regulations.
Receives incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received. Inspects materials for obvious defects. Solves related problems and notifies supervisor as necessary.
Stocks shelves, ensuring materials are in their designated area. Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders, back orders, inter-branch transfers, and will call orders. Carefully identifies quantities and customer specifications. Utilizes RF guns for much of the picking & packing function.
Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
Receives and hangs reels of wire in designated area. Cuts wire to customer specification for counter, will call, and other specific sales orders.
Posts purchase orders and other related data into the computer system.
Communicates with the sales department when material ordered is not available.
Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed.

Qualifications:
Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 pm to 3:00 am
Must be able to lift 50 lbs several times a day, bend, twist, and climb
Must be able to successfully pass a physical exam and drug screen
Minimum High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years of Box-Truck driving experience (CDL is not required)
