The Role:

As a Quality System Manager at Thermon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will lead, train, and mentor a team of dedicated quality professionals, drive continuous improvement, and champion our commitment to meeting customer requirements and regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organizations success and reputation by establishing, implementing and maintaining the Quality program for our San Marcos (TX), Houston (TX), Baton Rouge (LA), and our Global Engineering Centre in Mumbai (India).

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to join our team as a Quality System Manager. You will be responsible for analyzing production processes, developing and implementing quality system policies, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering and R&D) to resolve any quality issues. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in quality systems, excellent project management abilities, and strong attention to detail.

This is a full-time, onsite role in San Marcos, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and verify quality assurance/system policies and procedures are met and enforced.
  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001:2015 Standard and ISO/IEC 80079-34 and other relevant standards).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, and R&D) to resolve quality issues and project execution.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records for quality control processes, audits, corrective action, test certificates, etc.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues

Experience:

  • 5+ yrs as a Quality Systems Manager or Quality Assurance Manager
  • Experience as a Certified Lead Auditor
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • BS in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree preferred
