From providing boutique technical solutions in support of the DOD Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) mission set to addressing the most critical Cybersecurity threats facing our nation as a prime contractor with the DHS Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a career at Edgesource is an opportunity to do meaningful, interesting, and impactful work.Position Overview:Edgesource is seeking a Software Tester to working onsite in Reston, VA conducting IV&V and system level verification activities to ensure that products are capable of satisfying mission requirements and performance standards to support an IC customer for Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) and supporting mission-driven Information Technology, Infrastructure Solutions and Services, and Commodity Support. The program will be responsible for operating and maintaining mission critical CT IT applications and systems, while rapidly enhancing IT capabilities. The contract will be responsible for system integration across customer development and O&M activities, providing analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the customer to translate operational requirements into configured systems, integrating the technical inputs of the entire design team, managing interfaces, characterizing and managing technical risk, transitioning technology from the technology base into program specific efforts, and verifying that designs meet operational needs.
Job Duties:
- Identify integration risks and perform IV&V and system integration testing across all phases of implementation, development, and O&M
- Assess and validate technical requirements
- Develop, maintain, deliver, and execute test plans and procedures that verify and validate incremental capability delivery
- Provide documentation and analysis of test verification results
Required Qualifications: - Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Candidate must have 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Software testing experience
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED): - Working collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience across the program life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, test, and sustainment)
