Robert Half is excited to partner with a distinguished law firm in their search for a seasoned Family Law Associate with a minimum of five years of experience. This role involves managing a variety of family law-related tasks such as crafting legal documents for divorce, custody, and support actions, overseeing detailed discovery and diligent research, and participating in all pertinent court hearings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure, review, and file diverse legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other court filings in family law cases.
- Coordinate and oversee comprehensive discovery procedures and depositions along with preparedness of witnesses.
- Attend court hearings, trials, and other related proceedings in a bid to advocate for clients proficiently.
- Conduct negotiations during various stages of the litigation process, serving as a strong advocate for clients.
- Uphold superior client service standards, foster positive communication, and manage client expectations effectively.
Qualifications:
- Must be fully licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- Need to exhibit self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a team.
- A strong penchant for detail and time-management skills is a must.
- Proven track record of stellar client service skills and sensitivity in handling client needs and expectations professionally.
- A minimum of five years of experience working in family law.
