Who We Are:

We are the Fuels and Lubricants Division! We perform testing on different types of vehicles, from compact cars to tractor-trailers, off-road equipment, and internal combustion engines from lawn mowers to locomotives. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck, minus applicable taxes.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Through on-the-job training, you will have the opportunity to work with various types of databases and software for inventory control in a hands-on environment.
  • Learn about the fuel and lubricant testing we provide.
  • Manage fuel and lubricant products received from various clients for the purpose of testing on different test types throughout the division in a safe and productive manner.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Follow all written procedures and written and verbal instructions.
  • Communicate with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and project leaders regarding products received.
  • Receive, issue and track incoming specimens ranging in different bulk sizes (2oz - 55gallons) and enter in database.
  • Stock and organize inventory products ranging from 2oz to 55gallons. Receive and count stock items before signing-off on receivables.
  • Prepare samples for disposal by marking, removing containers from racks and putting them in proper disposal area; crush containers after disposal of contents; prepare lubricant samples for storage; use forklift and truck to move lubricants and fuel samples.
  • Maintain and recognize adequate inventory levels; ability to communicate and provide information to clients, project leaders, and management regarding product levels, product receivables and product deliverables.
  • Operate computer using particular software and databases (familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word).
Requirements:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Shift work required.
  • 0-2 years: Vocational or commercial warehouse experience.
  • 0-1 years: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications i.e. Excel and MS Word
  • Due to project needs, weekends, holidays, overtime, shift work as well as a need to work on scheduled days off with advanced notice may be requested.
  • Exposure to solvents, fuels and lubricants; i.e. pentane, gasoline, solvent, diesel, jet fuel, acetone, heptane, ethanol.
  • Must follow and adhere to safety requirements.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
