Editorial Assistant


Job Details

The Editorial Assistant for the Tulane Law Journals Department formats and copyedits journal manuscripts and performs other editorial duties for eight Tulane law journals. This position takes the lead on web-related duties and performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and works well with team members.

Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word and Outlook).

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.

Great analytical skills and strong attention to detail.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2 years of directly related work experience.

Bachelor's Degree.
Copyediting and publishing experience.

Office experience.
