To join our team as an Incentive Processor on our Residential Program Team in Portland, Oregon delivering energy efficiency program implementation services to an Oregon based non-profit client. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, collaborative, interpersonal and adaptive skills are a must. This position will have tasks ranging from data entry and reporting results, verifying documentation and processing applications, direct customer support via phone and email, and working collaboratively with the team to meet Program goals. Additional activities include:

  • Enter and maintain incentives database(s).
  • Take and process transactions by telephone, internet, and correspondence from customers and other collaborators.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and customer service processes & procedures.
  • Communicate and resolve disputed rebate claim data. Provide expertise and guidance to customers in interpreting policies to assure program participation and compliance.

Quality Assurance - Manages and controls processing of rebate / incentive applications and claims for energy savings programs, to ensure that contractual obligations are met, claimed energy savings is reasonable, and payments are properly calculated, approved, paid and recorded. Addresses disputed rebate claim data. Prepares and reviews required documentation. Ensures that standards for contract proposals, including contract clauses and attachments, are observed, and that rebates offered are in compliance with programmatic guidelines. Coordinates the review and revision of procedures, specifications, and forms. Provides input on quality control procedures and documentation. Ensures timely payment of incentive invoices and end user incentives. Performs systematic quality assurance verification.

Customer Service - Takes and processes transactions via email, and correspondence from customers and other collaborators. Enters and maintains incentives database(s). Maintains knowledge of company products, services, and customer service processes & procedures. Documents conversations with customers, recommends products or services to customers, and advises on program incentives. May be assigned product, program, region or customer accounts. Communicate and resolve disputed rebate claim data. Provides expertise and guidance to customers in interpreting policies to assure program participation and compliance.

Input and process rebate applications in multiple proprietary databases.
  • Field in-bound missing information submissions.
  • Perform regular application auditing and QC.
  • Perform some customer call support (as needed) and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • File applications; retrieve data and run database queries and reports.
  • Contribute to process improvements in a team-based environment where each process has system-wide affects.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.
  • Must reside in the state of Oregon or Washington


Compensation:

$20-$22 / hourly
