Patient Advocate Job Duties:

Patient Advocacy

  • Acts as the Patient Advocate for the hospital, providing timely logging, investigation, and closure of patient complaints and grievances.
  • Assis with planning and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Projects
  • Assist with planning and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Other
  • May assist in training employees in compliance, risk, or quality subjects.
  • May provide assistance in reviewing compliance opportunities and monitoring progress and deadlines.
  • May serve as a liaison for designated compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • May assist with the investigation of incidents.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities associated with position as needed.
